Support Groups

We offer a variety of adult bereavement support groups, open to the public at no cost. Whether you’re attending our monthly Journey Through Grief group or joining one of our weekly sessions, you’ll find a safe and compassionate space to connect with others who understand. Our support groups are designed to provide emotional support, guidance, and education on the grief process, helping participants navigate loss and begin the journey toward healing

Monthly Bereavement Groups in NH

Anyone over age 18 who is grieving the death of a loved one may attend these monthly support sessions. Sessions include shared insights and grief education, group conversation, shared activities and quiet moments of meditation. This group is open to the public and no registration is required.

We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month from from 2pm-3:30pm AND 6pm-7:30pm at 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH (accessible parking & entrance in the rear of building). You may join us for either the afternoon or evening session; each session will be the same.

Weekly Bereavement Groups in NH

We hold 8-week sessions in January, April & September with an average of 8-10 attendees per group. Participants engage in conversation and activities that aid in the grieving process while also providing peer support. These groups are open to anyone grieving the death of a loved one. Minimum number of participants required.

  • Loss of Spouse (day & evening)
  • Loss of Parent (evening)

Drop In Bereavement Support Group

Time: 6pm-7:30pm every other Thursday – resumes on Thursday, September 11th.

Place: Community Hospice House Conference Room, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH

All members of the community are welcome, there’s no registration and no commitment required.

If you are grieving, this is a safe and supportive space for you to process your loss. This general loss group is suitable for all types of losses, whether a spouse, partner, adult child, sibling, friend, or other loved one. Those who are currently participating in one of our 8-week support groups are asked to complete that group before joining this group.
